Today was great. Slightly stressful, but mostly great. I started the day off by packing the rest of the clothes I'm bringing to Budapest, and eating breakfast with my dad and two of his friends. Then, I went home to walk my dog before the dog sitter came to take over. I also spent some time with my boyfriend before my dad and I went out for sushi. OH, and the new camera and jacket I ordered came just in time for the Budapest trip (you can get the jacket at 70% off HERE), so you can expect a lot of pictures and videos over the next few days!
The plane takes off at 06.30 tomorrow morning, so we decided to stay at the airport hotel. This is also where the stressful part happened... As soon as my grandfather dropped us off at the airport and drove away, I realised that I had forgotten my passport in the glove compartment. I called about 7 times, but he had forgotten his phone at home.
Lucky for me, my grandparents don't live too far from the airport, and my grandmother picked up the phone and said she would send him back.
All in all, it was a good day. I have to get up at 04.30 tomorrow, so that's all for today!
Who am I?
Hi, I'm Ine! I'm 22 years old, from Norway, and I currently live in Budapest, Hungary, with my dogs, Baltus and Phoebe. I've wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as I can remember, and I'm currently a 2nd year vet student at UNIVET. I'll mainly be writing about my experience as a veterinary student in Budapest, but also about my day to day life and my experience of life in Budapest.
