One of my favourite parts about being back in Norway is definitely that I get to see this beautiful lady! Serine and I have been friends for many many years and we always go out for sushi or at least order sushi for takeout when I'm home. This time was no different ♥️
It's crazy to think that since meeting Serine, I've lived in Canada, Denmark, Bolivia, Belize, and Hungary, but every time we hang out it's like no time has passed at all. She's the best 🤩 Introducing the newest member of the family... Khaleesi! ♥ ...she's not mine (don't worry mom), but my best friend just got her a couple of weeks ago, so she's kind of my family too! We went to Anne's parents' camping wagon, about an hour from home, as they've had it for about 11 years but I've never been. And, I've know Anne and her family for about 20 years, so it's kind of weird that this was my first time visiting?? Anyway, it was really nice to get away for the day! I've gotten so used to the city life in Budapest with sirens, big apartment buildings, trains and buses everywhere, and people everywhere, so it was good to get some peace and enjoy nature again.
It's been 20C in Budapest for the past two weeks, so I was super happy to see snow in Norway! It wasn't a lot, but still enough to feel like winter is not completely over yet. Khaleesi also loved the snow, and it was her first time seeing snow! She just ran around, tried to eat it, licked the ground, and explored the area. She's so freaking cute! ♥ Yesterday, right after I got off the plane in Norway, I got a message on instagram. It was from Kine, a girl I had met at the international veterinary seminar in Budapest in March, and she asked me if I wanted to help out with lambing at a farm. How freaking cool is that? I've ALWAYS wanted to help out during lambing season, but I never knew where to go or who to contact.. So I got super excited when she invited me to help out!
I got to milk some of the sheep and feed the lambs that had trouble drinking on their own, got to play with the lambs, helped with getting the sheep and their lambs onto the transport truck, kept the sheep in place as my Kine pulled the lambs out, and got to observe everything that has to do with lambing. I had so much fun, and I hope I get to do it again next year! ♥ Aaaaah, I'm finally going home!! I haven't been home since November, and I cannot freaking wait! So far, I don't have a lot of plans, but it'll be nice to just relax, not think about school for once, be with family, and visit my friends. ♥
What are your plans for the easter holiday? |
Who am I?Hi, I'm Ine! I'm 23 years old, from Norway, and I currently live in Budapest, Hungary, with my dogs, Baltus and Phoebe. I've wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as I can remember, and I'm currently studying at UNIVET. Categories
