Aaaaahh! This has been such an amazing week, I'm so sad that it's over already! :(
I've made lots of new friends, become closer with people I already knew, made it all the way to the 2250m above sea level mark (and down in one piece haha), partied, relaxed, danced, and so much more. Veterinary medicine is a really tough and stressful education, so I think it's super important to take a mental break every once in a while and do something for yourself! This was an amazing way to do just that, and I'm already excited to see where we're going next year.

Day one was incredible! I started the day with my roomates, but they are all amazing skiers and snowboarders, so I'll probably go with another group until I get more comfortable and confident..
They were all super patient though, which I really appreciated! I fell maybe 23 seconds (?) after getting off the ski lift, and I was helped right away, haha! I then fell face first down the first hill, once on my ass a few minutes later, and then another face-plant in the middle of the last hill... Well... There might have been a few other times, but those are the ones I'm willing to admit. 😉 Now my legs feel like jello, and I'm so ready for dinner! ♥ I'm so excited to start the day! Sophie, Victoria, Ruaidhri, Fredrik and I are all sharing a cabin, and we're finally ready to enjoy some time away from vet school...
I think we've all gotten so used to apartment buildings and pavement, that we all had a mini freak out when we woke up and saw snow AND trees! Hahah.. I could get used to this! ... Chamrousse, France! 🤩 We left Budapest last night, and just arrived in Chamrousse. It took us 21.5 hours to get there because of all the stops along the way, but we are finally settling in! We'll be here for a week, so stay tuned for lots of pictures.

Who am I?Hi, I'm Ine! I'm 23 years old, from Norway, and I currently live in Budapest, Hungary, with my dogs, Baltus and Phoebe. I've wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as I can remember, and I'm currently studying at UNIVET. Categories
