This is it, this is the last week of my first year as a veterinary student! How crazy is that?! From visiting Budapest with my dad and my brothers... ...to officially becoming a veterinary student and making new friends ...to adopting Phoebe and watching her grow up ...to going on a ski trip to france with people from all over the world ...to picnics on margit island to de-stress after midterms ...to my first international day ...to the final exam season of this year ...and everything in between! ♥ I truly am so grateful for everything I've learned and experienced this year, and I'm so thankful for the people I've gotten to know. This university really is like one huge family! I know I never have to worry about being alone, or not understanding something, because my friends are always there to help me and support me; just like I'm always there to help and support them. We've made countless dinners together, given each other peptalks when we've needed it the most, argued, laughed, cried, had movie nights and surprise birthday parties, pancake sundays and taco tuesdays, sleepovers and all-nighters. We're now 20% veterinarians and, I know I should be excited to go home for the summer, but I'm actually kind of sad that I won't get to see some of these people until september... We've all worked so hard, and I'm already excited to start 2nd year! ♥♥♥

Who am I?Hi, I'm Ine! I'm 22 years old, from Norway, and I currently live in Budapest, Hungary, with my dogs, Baltus and Phoebe. I've wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as I can remember, and I'm currently a 2nd year vet student at UNIVET. I'll mainly be writing about my experience as a veterinary student in Budapest, but also about my day to day life and my experience of life in Budapest. Categories
